Depends on the set. Most were like 2-3 I think.

I thought they were harder to get than the X's, cause it took me ages to get a rayquaza ex from DF.

it's like 4-5 EX per box. they weren't super rare if you bought them in boxes.

Yea, it's about 4 EX's to a box back then.

It was four per box, and it was amazing some had an ex box topper, which they sould make again.

It was just a special card. 128/127 for example. One guaranteed per box IIRC. I don't remember them being Exs or anything that special, but if you look in the Ex card sets on the main page and scroll to the bottom, you can see the boxtoppers.
