So with the release of Dawn Wings Necrozma, I was wondering how will it affect golisopod gx. Will ability lock be too much of a burden to make it viable or will it give golisopod an extra boost in viability?

It may give a boost with a single copy, but it's more convenient to use the single-prize Tapu Koko which has no retreat cost. That way, you don't have to use any abilities or risk letting your opponent draw two prizes. Not to say Dawn Necrozma will be totally useless...

If you're not using Golisopod with Garbotoxin, I'd say that Dawn Wings + Float Stone is a good way to chain First Impressions on consecutive turns without having to rely on Guzma or Acerola. Not saying that Guzma or Acerola are bad cards, but they're to be used only if you need to if Dawn Wings is added to the equation.

Expanded golisopod decks use keldeo it will be the same for wings necrozma. My experience with golisopod is if you dont have a acerola or Guzma or the board state to support there usage it's harder to get another 120 out but now you can rush in and retreat and draw or mallow/trade instead Without sacrificing a possible damage turn
