Hi, my brother and I could not enter any more City Championships after this :/ so we started testing the new format , which is HS - ND, which is the format for the next competition which is the States Championships. We made a deck for this and we hope you can help us out!
This deck did well at quite well at league today against HS - NV, HS - ND decks alike, so I might be on to something.
3 - 1 - 2 Vileplume UD
2 Lilligant EP
4 Mew Prime
3 Mewtwo EX
1 Cleffa HS
1 Pichu HS
1 Smeargle UD
2 Victini NV 98
P: 20
4 N
4 Pokemon Collector
4 Pokemon Communication
4 Rare Candy
4 Sage's Training
2 Skyarrow Bridge
4 Twins
T/S/S: 26
4 Double Colourless
3 Grass
3 Psychic
4 Rainbow
E: 14
The deck's strategy is to lock up the opponent's Pokemon with Mew Prime using Lilligant EP Bemusing Aroma and supportive locking via Vileplume UD's Allergy Pollen. Bonus points if locked target is an EX. Charge Mewtwo EX up to a desirable energy count during this period of time.
After whittling down some HP or even the opponent's HP entirely if you do not whiff on stunlock, Mew Prime tends to die. Revenge via 1) locking once more, or 2) simply sweeping with Mewtwo EX if the opponent's board is dead, hopefully with a well-timed use of N.
If they do revenge kill with another Mewtwo EX when you do opt for 2), Mew Prime can just come in once more to abuse Mewtwo EX's weakness to Psychic and lock for 2 prizes, charging another Mewtwo EX up once more to rinse, lather and repeat.
