HS Undaunted Prerelease 30 card packs

I am very new to Pokemon TCG and to this forum so I apologize if this is not the correct place to ask this question, but here goes.

I was recently at a non-Pokemon event and being new to buying and playing Pokemon cards (30 days or so since my son became interested) I stumbled on some of prerelease HS undaunted boxes containing 30 cards. Are these legal cards? I ask because they have a different texture then normal cards and the resolution on the back appears to be different. In addition some of the *Legend cards I see from the card lists are only supposed to come as foils have non-foil version in these boxes. Also not only are there *Legend cards from Undaunted, but also from Triumphant and Unleashed

I have never heard of these packages.
All legend card are foil.
If there are non-foil legend cards, they sound fake.
That is unless they are some kind of promo I am unaware of.

*edit* Sounds like these are not your first Pokemon cards. The texture and the off color backs make me think they are indeed fake
 
Definately fake cards. Where'd you get them? Textures feel the same on all Pokemon cards, you can easily tell if they're off. Legends are always completely holo.
 
I've purchased very few cards to date (few theme decks and a few boosters), but it just seemed to good to be true. I bought them at a train expo of all places, but one of the booths happened to have these boxes of cards with some other miscellaneous toy stuff. The boxes were $4 for 30 cards and each box tended to have at least 2 primes halves per box. I've attached the images of one of the boxes they came in I think there were 5 different boxes with various pics and colors. As a collector in general of various other items I knew something had to be up with these and in my hands they just felt different and the gloss on the back and front was different. I could see the inks on the back were not the same sheen as the normal cards are the blacks tended to be more reflective. There were some holos in the decks as well so that added to my confusion.

It's no longer go-pokemon.com or Pokemon USA Inc - it's pokemon.com and TPCi (The Pokemon Company International). Oh yes, and on the back it says "HS-Unleashed", which isn't the set it's purportedly selling. This and the previously-mentioned warning flags identify this as a fake product.

So it's basically nothing more than useless slips of paper with no real monetary value, unfortunately.
 
Oh well lesson learned at least I didn't buy them all! My son is 5 and he loves everything Pokemon so I'll put a little mark on the back of the cards and let him go crazy!
