He had earned some money and had asked me to take him to get a booster pack. We each got a Plasma Freeze pack and he also got a Plasma Storm booster.
I opened my pack and it was the worst pack I ever opened, the best card was a Plasma energy....
My son opened the Freeze booster and got Moltres EX. He opened the Storm pack and got Latias EX.
This weekend we had a tournament and he came in second and got four packs as the prize. He pulled Latios Ex and a gold edged Empoleon.....
I'm lucky to get an Ever!!

Why are you disowning your son for those:

Moltres EX : $6-8
Latias EX: $5
Latios EX: $5
Empoleon: $15-20

not worth that much... Let's say if he opens a first edition base set and pulls a 1st edition charizard. Then you can disown him.
 
I remember when I was a kid my dad collected rugby league cards he would buy two to three boxes when a set came out and I would help him open the packs.
Nine times out of ten I would pull most of the chase cards or insets cards he would get so cranky at me fun times :)

If that is the worst pack you have ever opened, you are unfortunately (<- for the "state of the boosters") pretty lucky!

I doubt he seriously means it, lol. Just a figure of speech; a joke, if you will.

Anyways, I have always had a love-hate relationship when it comes to friends opening packs. I want them to get something good -- Something AWESOME -- but at the same time in my mind I'm always like, "Confound you, you lucky person!" when they do. xD
 
I made a thread like this once. It was stupid, just like this one is. Yeah, your kid got some dece pulls and you got trash. Deal with it and life goes on.

There's no real discussion here; just one guy qqing about some bad luck, just like I did.
