I Have Officially Retired From Pokemon. I Have Turned To The Dark Side.

After being a 12 year Pokemon veteran, I have officially announced my retirement from the game. I believe I got the most out the game that I could. My decision was even more justified when my friends taught me how to play Magic the Gathering. After playing MTG, I knew it was time to move on from Pokemon. I've found MTG to be more mature, intriguing, complex, and strategic than Pokemon has or will ever be, and I haven't even scratched the surface of the game.

That being said, I will be selling my entire collection of Pokemon cards on Ebay. I have over 6,000 cards (over 1700 rares) and will auction them for approximately $1,000 with a 'Best Offer'. If anyone is interested, please PM me. Thank you.

Good luck selling a huge lot like that. No matter how "worth it" it is, not many have a grand to blow on pre-owned cards at one time.

Yea agreed ;p you might be better off selling them individually, I'd probably even be interested lol. Like put up good holos/Lvl Xs/Exs/Shining/Rares/Stars individually

Other cards just bunch them in sets of 100 and whatnot and go from there. $1000 is an insane amount all at once.

If I were you, I wouldn't sell my cards until I was sure that I wasn't ever going to play it again. Sometimes, something seems REALLY awesome when you start, but maybe a couple of weeks/monthes later, you'll want to get back in to the Pokemon TCG. I almost sold all of my cards about 4 years back. If I had, where would I be now?
