I Have Some Newbie Questions...

Hey, AUSA here. I'm thinking of participating in next year's TCG League and i need help with a deck. I have some Theme Decks, but i don't know if that's enough. Also, this may be a dumb question, but, what theme decks are the best, or really good? I'm also trying to put together a Fire deck, but, i don't have enough energys. I need lots and lots. For some reason, the most rare energys around here are colorless. So, is there anyway i could get a deck of energys without using the internet? ( mom's not too keen on ebay for my '' junk'' ) thx, have a nice day!

In your case seeing as you won't be able to get cards off the internet the best route would be to buy 2 of the same theme deck and a couple of booster packs and a collectors tin.

If you want to build a fire deck and get fire energy then get the Typhlosion HGSS theme deck. Be sure to buy the HGSS booster packs as they'll contain cards to help you strengthen the Typhlosion HGSS theme deck and if you're buying a tin, buy the Typhlosion prime tin. This will give to a good starting deck for league and possibly some good cards you can use for trades.

Also there a no colorless basic energy (you can supplements the colorless energy cost by using ANY energy) however there are special which do provide colorless energy: Double Colorless Energy, Rainbow Energy.
 
If you are going to an event with other players(Leagues and Tournaments), a theme deck is not going to be enough. You need to build a deck ,from the most part from scratch. Since you want to build a fire deck, I highly recommend going for a Charizard deck. If you can't get your hands on four Charizards, go for a Typhlosion deck. The best way to go around doing this is to buy on the internet, but you can't, so just purchase the Typhlosion theme deck and two Typhlsion Prime tins. When you go to Pokemon League, trade all your extra cards from the packs that came inside the tins for Ninetales. If you want a good list for either Typhlosion or Charizard, private message me. thanks guys! I already have the one Typhlosion prime and the Theme Deck. I'll try to work on getting some charizards. *Sigh* Extra chores here i come
