Hello, everyone. My name is Kyle, and I'm a returner. I haven't posted in 5 years, roughly 6-7 before I left. Now, I'm back and I need some help. I'm happy I do not have to get myself the latest and greatest stuff, so expanded looks like a format I can sink my teeth into. I decided to stick to my roots and play a control deck that I'm used to. I still can't find lists, but I have a list that I came up with, taking inspiration from other decklists. Here's what I've come up with.

Pokemon: 14
4x Seismetoad EX
3x Slowpoke
3x Slowking (the one that moves energy around)
2x Remoraid
2x Octillery (the one that draws cards)

Trainers: 39
4x sycamore
3x N
1x Lysandre
4x Dive Ball
4x trainer’s mail
1x Evosoda
1x Wally
2x fighting fury belt
2x Muscle band
2x VS Seeker
1x Super Rod
1x Computer Search
4x rough Seas
1x Hex maniac
1x super rod
1x AZ
1x Skyla
1x delinquent
1x Silent Lab
2x Headringer
2x Hypnotoxic laser

Energy: 7
4x DCE
3x Water energy

Am I Doing this right? I have no idea.

Looks decent, but you have lots of 1-ofs, but only two VS seeker. Up that VS Seeker count to 4. Throw in a couple level balls since your support Pokémon can all be grabbed with it. Also, 5 stadiums is too many most decks run 2-4.

I also noticed you have no switching ability like Olympia, Escape rope, Float stone, or Switch. You'll want some of them in order to recover from a Lysandre.

True enough. Thank you for the suggestions!
