Hello Pokebeach. I'm picking up Pokemon White tomorrow. I need help for my team. I have a few Pokemon that are certain that I'll get..
Zebstrika
Haxorus
Unfezant

I'm a bit iffy on which starter to get. It's between Emboar and Samurott. What would be good pokemon to include in either one of the starter's team?
 
Meh, there aren't a lot of good flying types, so Unfezant should do. Though I'm personally using Archeops instead. Zebstrika and Haxorus are both good. As for starters, Emboar is slightly better, but there are next to no good water pokemon in the main story other than Samurott. Excadrill and Krookodile are both great ground types. Chandelure is good if you don't choose Emboar.
 
Archeops looks cool... As for the starters...I just want something that hits hard and can take a hit.
 
I'll get Black later on. I'll try both and see which is better for me. Also, what's more advisable..to have a lot of pokemon in the beginning or gradually increase your party and focus on just a few pokemon?
 
Just do what fits your playing style. For me, I'll be catching Oshawott, Lillipup, Venipede, and making up the rest of my team as I continue through the gyms.
 
I'll probably just get specific Pokemon for a gym and use them later on. I might stick to a few Pokemon first because having a lot of pokemon in the beginning has proved to be a hassle for me.
