Intro: The Boundaries of Destiny
What is destiny? Is it some supernatural predecided purpose of a being that they have no choice but to fulfill? Is it an undetermined presence that can be realized once a certain action or event has occurred in an individual's life? But most importantly, can it be stopped and, in changing that event or events, the future be altered. We can only hope that it is possible, so we may one day dismantle the horrible images that we call our world.
Destiny, from our only perspective, is much like a spider’s web. Each is different depending upon the one who creates it. It can be the death of us, or it may be the thing we feed off and grow as a result. We may move on from one destiny to another, but we will always have a tie to them. But a spider’s web is little more then a small nuisance to some, so is destiny alike in that quality as well? Can we truly just waltz into someone’s predetermined past and alter it to a more favorable outcome? And if not, can we stop the web from spreading by simply removing its host, and thus forth end the tyrant’s reign?
For a millennium our freedom has been slowly chocked away and the Pokemon that were once our pets, our partners and our friends have been almost completely eradicated, or taken from their unique paradises and enslaved. I simply cannot stand it anymore! And will not! Now, I have found a means that may dispel the eternal darkness that is in our land, and in our hearts.
I ask, no I beg you for your support in my cause. We may fail; the Prince of Ice may yet again run us from our homes. But I plan to die knowing that I tried. That I tried to bring warmth back to this desolate, joyless wasteland. That I tried to give future generations the chance to rebuild our once bountiful land. That the prince will forever have to be on his guard, and will never sleep again without being tortured by the images that might have, and might again, present themselves as reality. Please, for the people, for the Pokemon and for the world; join me and may this be one last rebellion of will. The last rebellion before we dethrone the malicious overlord who was long kept our land dismantled and disembodied.
I realize the blood lost in previous attempts, and the many families devastated by their losses; therefore I have no expectation of anyone coming. But just know, that you could have made a difference. That you could’ve been the missing link that would have brought back the balance. That all those whom do take matters into their own hands, may never return because your cowardice turned their valiant sanctity attempts into an undesired suicide march. Would you not like to be thought of us a hero, whom will be written of marvelous tales, and children will imitate you for years and years to come. Whether or not you are a part of it, his demise is immanent, cowards will be forgotten but the legacy of myself, and all those of you who bring aid, will be the talk of historians and soldiers.
Finally, as this quest may bring around my demise, I apologize to the families and friends for all who have, or may, die on my missions. I simply cannot imagine the pain felt after loss of a family member. In no way do I try to do the impossible, or ask that upon anyone else. Eventually there will be another whom thinks that this is the end of his people, but what if that person has more authority? And what if they believe that a revolution is the only way to banish the Prince? So many more of you would die in your own hatred and lust; the small numbers that would survive would tear each apart in their own sorrows, and think nothing of it.
Meet me at Ashton Square today and let us take back what we have made due without for so very long. Let us remake history.
May the Prince of Ice burn.
