What do you think would be in it? I think it will be mostly Friend Safari Pokémon. Also, that it would be called South Kalos.

Well the Kalos-dex already has so many pokemon in it (450), that if there is even just a 4th part added, it'll include almost all pokemon, so anything that isn't in the Kalosdex yet has a chance higher than 50%. And that's before even crossing out all the old mascot legends and starters or other things that are less likely to be in it.

So if you make any list of 150, most of them will probably be correct ;D
 
Yeah, I doubt we'll see a dex expansion unless there's new Pokemon, there wouldn't be much left afterwards for post game. You'll already have 600/721, that is way too much for the main game and it would discourage trading.

Which is why I made the dex smaller. Also, none of the south of France is in Kalos anyway, which is why I think the next games should explore the south a bit more. I mean, it's the best part of France, so why not add it?!

550 is still too much. I don't think Kalos needs even one new Pokemon added to its dex, it has more than enough to fill South Kalos. Look at the distribution in Kalos, most Pokemon are only found in 1 or 2 areas and you have entire areas of Pokemon that can't be found elsewhere. They can definitely spread them out.

I know, but there are still a lot of Pokémon found in Europe not in Kalos at all. Like why isn't Phanpy availiable? It could be a reference to Babar, also Street Pigeons originated from the Mediterranean.

There's always post game, Kalos could use a major post game expansion anyway. I would throw in about 100-150ish extra Pokemon in Kalos' post game, add a new method to catch post game Pokemon and more legendaries, that would improve the game more than if they overloaded an already bloated Kalos Dex.

I guess so, as long as they don't keep the friend safari.
 
As long as it includes Koffing and Weezing, I'm fine.

On a semi-related note, you know what else they ought to do in the next Kalos game? Wild Voltorb and Electrode at the Poké Ball Factory. It's even in the part of Kalos corresponding with Voltorb/Electrode's place in the Kalos Dex, and considering the heavily-implied origins of the Voltorb species, it's too perfect for them not to do.
 
I like this idea (also we won't see new Pokemon the reason we had only about 70 new Pokemon is because we are getting tons of Megas and 2 Primal Reversions (3 if Regigigas gets one) there are over 40 now and the next games WILL have more, i Think many Pokemon from Unova and Kalos will get it mega evolutions (and Dragonite) main Pokemon that will get one

South Kalos should be a new sub region altogether for Z, like a separate island
That way we can have a new PokéDex and not worry about too many Pokémon or anything, have about 4-5 new gyms and bring back gyms from other parts of Kalos that have already been established
Also, maybe 40 new Pokémon so Kalos has an actual amount of new Pokémon

Maybe, but I'd rather it be like in FRLG and B2W2, where there's new sections to explore, that you didn't get to go to originally.

Also, it kinda bugs me that the whole of the south of France wasn't used.
 
Definetely new Kalos Pokémon, instead of a region that looks like ...oh yeah it has indeed seen a war, perhaps that's why there were so few...well, perhaps Xerneas brought them to life, so a Dex expansion with actually newer new Pokémon and way lesser of older ones.

We could have that too, especially if it's New 3DS exclusive it means a lot of expansions can happen

Pokémon Crystal was Gameboy Colour exclusive but still compatible with Gold and Silver
It's not a brand new platform, it's an enhanced 3DS

Yeah. Also, if they don't release it until next year, it means more people will have the New 3DS anyway.
