Hello, friends. As some of you may know, I like to perform on stage.

Over the next year, my plan is to write and have produced a play. I am looking to you, dear readers, for inspiration. Do you have an exciting story to tell? Do you think it would make for a great play? Do you think that seeing your work produced would be friggin' dope?

If you do, I want to hear from you. Good stories, bad stories, stories with lots of drama or excitement... I want it all.

I can promise you that if I do end up using your story, I will fictionalize your story so as not to use your actual name (exception: a "story by ________" credit) or location.

I'm a bit of a procrastinator, so there's no promises that I will actually finish this play. There's also no promises that, assuming I do finish it, that it will be produced (there are a number of local theatre groups in my area, though, so I could get lucky).

With that said, if I do use your story, what I can promise you is a physical copy of the script, signed by the cast and crew, as well as the program from the show.

So what exactly do you need to do?

I need to know what I'm working with here, so you need to put a summary of your story in thread. (If your tale deals with sensitive subjects, or you'd rather not share it, feel free to PM me instead.) Once I find a few I like, I'll contact those people privately in order to get more information.

If I choose you to work with, you will need to keep in touch with me over the course of the next year so I can work with you more closely and ask questions if I need to. But we'll cross that bridge if we come to it.

Acting is one of my passions. I really hope I can make this project come to light.

I have an idea based on a short essay I wrote. Not sure if it's what you're looking for, but you're welcome to read it if you'd like.

Once upon a time, there was an ugly barnacle; he was so ugly that everyone died. The end.

But in all seriousness, I'll see what I can conjure up. Are you seeking any specific genres?

Something that can translate well to the stage, and not Pokemon. I may have a story picked out, but I can't tell if it's Z-tier fanfiction, which would make me sad.

Are you looking for a bit of a niche or a bit of a more traditional type of thing?

Either one is fine.
