Hello! I am relatively new to this site, and here and there I'm seeing some unfamiliar lingo. I remember seeing a popular abbreviations list/FAQ kind of deal, but I can't seem to find it again. It would be really helpful, as I'm relatively new to the meta game as well.

Concerning the meta game, I am thinking about making a Chande-plume deck and also a Reshiboar deck. In each of these decks, what are the main strategies/what cards are mainly used to support these decks? Is there a thread that explains all of the main decks being used in the meta? I am basically ignorant to most of these decks besides durant, (for example: CaKE, 6 corners, The Truth, etc.) and would like to become more knowledgeable about them.

Thank you! =)

Hey welcome to PokeBeach!

An excellent and the most important place to get knowledge and ideas for the metagame decks is here, in "The Competitive Collective" and the "Metagame Deck Center".
The Metagame Deck Center is an excellent place to go right now and browse around if you wanna learn more about the metagame decks and gathering ideas of what to put together in your metagame deck.

But if you want to fix your decklist, go post it here in the Competitive Collective and people will be more than happy to help you out!
Another place I've found is this thread in the New Player's Plaza.
Another thread is this.
Maybe this can also help if you have any trouble in deck building concepts.
Also, you mentioned that you lost the link for the dictionary, here it is.
Competitive Dictionary

Tournament Prep and Advice
(Rookies only, if you are!)....>[thread] Rookie to the whole metagame[/thread]
Helpful for learning what decks are dominant right now and what staples are included in the decks.

That person who just replied to the thread maker gave a really direct approach on most of the metagame decks. Explore around the NPP as well if you want any more tips and ideas regarding the basics of the TCG.
Playtest with the suggested decks in the thread link I just gave you and you will become more knowledgeable about them.

Browse around the forums if you need more information.
Sorry if it is too long, I can't help it. I write posts that are very long. :p
Anyways, hope this helped and once again, welcome to the site!
If you still need more help, PM me.

Glad to have you in the game.
