iPhone Traditional Games?

So i was looking for some traditional games today on my iPhone (Traditional as in similar to what you would find on a normal console and was having a hard time deciding. I would like probably an RPG or a platformer with the traditional d-pad control.

Really the best you will find is arcade games. There are a few RPGs, but they usually suck, are costly, or both. I think there might be a pacman doss game. The iPod wasn't really designed for hardxcore gaming. Just for quick little gimmiky games whenever. Hence, lack of strong "platformer" games are published.
