I was looking at the "Heat Wave Arena" set list and saw the Ethan lines, and realized that there is some crazy synergy and potential. I am newer to deck creation but this seems kinda broken on paper. Like 280 a turn with a single-prize attacker!?
My idea for it is as follows:
[Turn 1] 2-3 energy onto Slugma, and possibly Budew/TM: Evo (Ho-oh ex to pump energy) Get cyndaquil out early too.
[Turn 2] Add energy till 4 onto Slugma (Evo into Magcargo) Get cyndaquil evo into Quilava/Typhlosion and discard/use Ethan's Adventure as much as reasonable. Attack for 280 with Macgarco
[Turn 3] Attach to Typhlosion (evo if not already) and attack for 280
Go from there...
So is it just me as a beginner not seeing the flaws or is this really good?
