Is an Undaunted box worth buying?

Yeah, essentially what the title says. Is and Undaunted box worth buying or not? I just need some other opinions on this matter.
 
I don't think so. I'm buying all the cards I want from UD to build a deck (at least 2-3 rares, 2-3 holos, some C/UC) and its cost me like $15 to get everything I need. The primes are all pretty meh, except for Scizor and the legends are just ok.
 
Alright, you guys convinced me. I wasn't too sure about it in the first place anyway. Any sets you'd recommend?
 
It is a really small set and most of the prices are really low to buy everything, so if you are a collector you could probably buy the entire set for the price of a box or a player just buy what you need for quite a bit cheaper.

I would recommend Platinum or plain HGSS. HGSS if you are looking for staple cards like Pokemon Communication, Pokemon Collector, and Double Colourless Energy, or other great deck-building cards like Donphan Prime and Jumpluff. Platinum if you are looking for the SP Engine (Cyrus's Conspiracy, PokeTurn, Power Spray, Energy Gain), or great SP LV.X's like Dialga G LV.X or Palkia G LV.X. Platinum also has Broken Time-Space, another useful card for most non-sp decks. It really just depends on what deck you want to play with. For SP the best set is Platinum (you can get the entire engine), if you like rogue then Stormfront would be a good choice, and if you are starting out and need some staple cards, HGSS.

It's in my best interest to get as many Espeon as possible, so I'd buy it. Competitively, go for singles. It's unfortunate because of the fact you have two Holos, a handful of Rares, and one, maybe two, Primes worth getting. Just buy 'em separately.

EDIT: Go HGSS, or Platinum. What A&G said is 100% correct.
 
Don't buy a box of Undaunted. Pick up some Vileplumes, Energy Exchangers, Smeargle's, Drifblims, Legend Boxes, and maybe each of the Legends and call it good.

As far as boxes you should buy...Stormfront, Platinum, Rising Rivals, and HGSS are all pretty fantastic, modified legal sets.
 
Buy Rising Rivals. It's good set. You can buy Luxray G Lv X which is a instant gold mine that can be used in almost any deck is worth nearly hundreds.
 
You kinda have three main choices.

Platinum if you like SP
Rising Rivals if you like Luxray/Flygon
HG/SS if you like Donphan/Jumpluff

Yes, but you only have a 33.3% chance of getting Luxray, and the only other actually useful LV.X's are Flygon, Infernape, and possibly Floatzel. If you don't get Luxray LV.X or Flygon LV.X, your box is worth maybe $20/30 All the other rares in the set are terrible (Excluding Flygon, Luxray GL, and Nidoqueen), because they are worth hardly anything and not god enough to be played.
