This is an ongoing joke and it is not likely to stop. I think if the anime comes to an end they should let Brock finally get a girl. Although who would want to date Brock when he falls in love with every pretty girl? I am sure any girl would get jealous if he continued to drool over every Jenny/Joy he sees.
Didn't the Pike brain seem in love with Brock? Maybe that could work out

Otherwise, well, Brock's love is a joke and used for humor. If Brock really got a girl, the entire point of Brock's love; that is, the comedy and hopelessness of Brock, will come to a halt, and Brock's days as a comic relief will be over.
