Discussion Is it worth adding Sylveon in Vespiqueen/Eeveelutions?

Hi! I've seen that in some lists of Vespiqueen/Eeveelutions, people are adding this Sylveon card:

My question is, is it really worth to add it to the deck? I supposse that people are adding it to play against ToadTina, but I don't understand why. It's first attack damage on Giratina EX is, in the best case 100 (and you're moving=discarding a DDE, okay), but they can just add a new DDE. And I don't think you'll have time to use the second attack twice in a row.

And would be, at least in expanded, this other one useful?

With Silver Bangle, it KOes Giratina EX if it's not using FFB.

Both of them has the same problem, you need a [Y] energy attached to them. So please, tell me, what do you think?
 
I'm guessing the point of the first Sylveon is to keep your opponent from using Chaos Wheel by moving their Double Dragon Energies to Benched Seismitoads (and thus discarding them). It's basically an alternative to the Jirachi Promo, but doing a lot more damage. The second Sylveon is just bad and really not even a Giratina counter, since you'll probably need to attach a DCE to it in order to attack.
 
It seems like a good idea. I put in a Aegislash-EX in my Vespiquen/Eeveelutions deck online to counter Special Energy users. The problem with Sylveon is that they could SSU or Cassius it to get the energy back. It is just preference, and both are good techs in my opinion.
 
Okey. So I think neither of them are really worthing to be played.

And how do you use Aegislash EX? I mean, it needs 3 energies to do only 40 damage :S
 
Good point. I don't use Aegislash EX to attack. I run a Float Stone in my deck for it, and it has saved me some games. I find it to be useful sometimes, and even if I can't use it's Ability it can be an extra sacrifice for 10 damage.
 
For what it is worth while I kind of want to use the Energy movie Sylveon, on paper it does not seem worth it. Do I have the premise of the deck wrong? Vepsiquen and Flareon are supposed to be scoring OHKOs. What other Eeveelutions are being used? I have been using a single Vaporeon and Jolteon from XY: Ancient Origins to exploit Water and Lightning Weakness and have been debating adding in a copy of that sets Flareon as well so that Vespiquen can also hit Fire Weakness and use Blacksmith too. I had been using Vespiquen and just Flareon [Plasma] but I was starting to lose more than I was winning and the other Eeveelutions seemed to help.

Am I doing it wrong? XD

No, you're right ;)

But I saw some lists on the internet that added Sylveon to the deck (and AOR eeveelutions), so I felt curious about it.
