I've been very happy with silent lab
It's a major non-bo with shaymin/jirachi/hoopa/etc though
Toad is a pretty reactive deck, it doesn't come back from behind well, so maybe losing access to shaymin/etc aren't worth it since you have a harder lock when it works but it's much harder to establish it

It's ok, toad/tina is better by miles. And toad/slowking is slightly better too imho.
It's not the best toad variant, and in the current meta toad is mostly irrelevant. Toad/Tina decks are popular and still a legit threat, but they mostly use Tina as the work horse not toad any more. Toad is there to stall out when between set up Tina's.
