Help Is there anyway to play Lucario Gx

I was looking at lucario Gx's typing just now and thought it would be a good card t build a deck around. I was thinking maybe lycanroc or zoroark would be good additional cards but if you have advice let me know.
 
There was not a lot of love for the Lucario-GX, however I agree with yo7 an$ think it can be playable especiall6 with the numbers of Zoroark in play (plus the odd Drampa). With strong energy and regirock plus choice band it does 90 damage for one energy plus 90more if evolved. I think Lycanroc is a good partner seeing as it can pull up pokemon from bench. Although Zoroark may be the better choice due to the draw ability to obtain Acerola, scoop up, devolution spray, etc to potentiallly re-evolve and get the extra 90 damage.

You know, that's actually a good idea. Super Scoop Up and Acerola make Lucario viable, and I think most people overlooked the amount of Fighting support there is.
 
It really comes down to what meta's develops in the future. If Zoroark keeps being the top deck in the format, Luke GX could see some application with that bounce idea.
 
To quote a recent video from google: It's like a slightly better fighting type Golisopod. With a better GX but a worse second attack.

It plays fairly similar to Golisopod.
Play Lucario, have a Riolu benched.
Survive a turn, Acerola, evolve benched Riolu, bench Riolu, attack.
Differently from Golisopod, it has access to some other lit techs, such as Strong Energy and Regirock.
 
Additionally, devolution spray might be necessary. And Guzma doesn't necessarily work as a way to reset the attack's capability.
