I think it's a rip off because (look at Lt.H's post) & Electivire might be useful in the future when Electivire LV X comes out...
Well, considering the fact that he did have the scratch, you could've traded for something better. PPM is right though.

As long as the card is not creased anywhere the trade was ok but if it was then the card is worthless if the person you traded it to decides to sell it later on.:)

i shoudnt put the booster pack in my pockets and played basketball :( it have to happen to electivire y not my r/h luxio

No. I had a friend who did that and he for got he had them in his pocket and they ended up getting washed. They were Butterfree and Golem from the first set.:)

Unless you did it for collection purposes (unlikely), you did it for a deck (unlikely), or the card was unplayable because of the scrachs (ways to get around this), it was not a good trade at all.

the card is still playable if you put it in a sleeve it doesnt look like its damaged

yes i think that if the whole side is scratched if it was for your collection it was a semi-good deal but if it was for your deck it was a ripoff unless you were planning on putting the drapion and skorupi in your deck. (might've phrased this wrong)
also if it was a reverse-holo then it would be very noticable, but if it was regular holo then i think it would be hard to notice
