I used to play the game in DP era and recently came back to the game. I am still learning the format and trying to build a competitive deck. Stardust Jirachi-which destroys the archetype-haven't relesed here in Korea yet, so I almost made up my mind to build ToadTina which seemed somewhat strong in expanded format, and still used by some players in standard format.

Quacking punch seems very good especially in Standard since there's so much heavy-seekers-and-compressors decks around here, but I am not sure that the damage output is enough without laserbank. Or should I use Chaos wheel more often compared to QP?

If you feel that damage output is the problem I would suggest using the Crobat line for support. Normally though people will use the chaos wheel more late game when there is less of an impact your opponent can make with their items.

Giratina and Seismitoad's main draws are their powers to lock your opponent from playing certain types of cards, without that, neither of them are particularly good. So bear in mind, next set we will see the Marowak whose ability protects your hand from effects of attacks, so that goes down the drain. Garbodor and Hex Maniac can counteract that, of course, but it is something to consider.

I think ToadTina is viable in standard, but has a lot more support in expanded. In expanded you have things like rock guard, HypnoLaser, and PlusPower to higher the damage output. In standard you really only have figting spirit belt, muscle band, and bats. Overall, Expanded is better ,but if this is your first deck in this format I would suggest standard so you can use the cards in this deck for a longer period of time.

Tina/toad/hammers is good enough, if your going to play toad/tina/bats just play toad/bats as your just stretching your deck thin on how solid it is overall in multiple matchups. It depends on whats played in that format and if toad/tina's matchups are solid and plays strong through out it could win a cities.

If you're facing Night March and Vespiquen decks (I assume that's what you mean by Compressor decks), this deck should do just fine. Quaking Punch 2HKOs most things in Night March, and if you unleash Giratina on a field that has no Special Energy, the game's pretty much over from my experience. Vespiquen might be a bit harder with Seismitoad being weak to Grass, and they can also play Flareon to Blacksmith onto the Vespiquen, thus circumventing Giratina. So you have to be careful.

But yeah, Toad/Tina/Hammers is good. I've seen Toad/Tina/Crawdaunt around which seems like a decent choice too. I played the deck for a while and it's a little dull, but pretty effective in lockdown.
