Ruling Items on a Lv X

Hello!

I would like to know something about Items.
When you Level up your active Pokemon Eg. Palkia (MD) can you use the Item Lustrous orb on the Lv X? Any help would be great!

I'm pretty sure you can because it still counts as a Palkia but it also counts as a Palkia Lv. X. It's sort of confusing but I'm sure you can.

Yes because the Lv. X is not considered a new pokemon.

I don't see why not since a LVX is a stronger version of the same Pokemon so you should be able to use the orb. Unless it states somewhere that it can't be used just use the item until it says somewhere you can't. Refer to your deck instruction manual to see if it can't be used.
