[/font]Can you evolve a pokemon from one set to a pokemon from a different set? Lets say I have Lotad from deoxys, can I evolve it into Lombre from crystal guardians?

Only things that aren't legal (and mostly unformatted)
Trainer's Pokémon -> reglar Pokémon and vice versa
EX Pokémon to regular and vice versa (very rare)
DArk Pokémon to regular Pokémon and vice versa. Not too sure what I left out. δ's don't count.

lets Say Aggron...

Team magma's Aggron Simpley says: Evolve's from Team Magma's Lairon, Thus Aggron Must evolve from the Team Magma's Lairon

Now Aron

Team magma's is a Part of the Name. Thus if you have a Team Magma's Aron on the field, you cant Evolv it in Lairon or Candy it to Aggron. It Musty be a Team Magma's Lairon/Aggron

you can evolve non-ex into ex -_-

anyways, you can only evolve out of the Pokémon with the exact name as on the evolution card
like "evolves from blabla or blabla ex" would mean that you can evolve out of both "evolves out of blablou" means that you can't evolve out of dark blablou

Well, the set doesn't matter, only its name matters. A Pokemon with "δ" doesn't affect a Pokemons' Evolution. You can always evolve a Charmander to a Charmeleon δ because "δ" isn't part of the name, it is just used to different shape it from another. Regular Pokemon CAN evolve to a Pokemon-ex. However, names that will change a Pokemons' name such as "Dark" or "Owner's Name" can only evolve to Pokemon which allows evolution from those Pokemon. (i.e. Team Aqua's Walrein can only be evolved by Team Aqua's Sealeo.
