Well, since I can't go to Nats this year, it doesn't affect me, but at least I can get rid of my MD-AR cards now.

Yes I noticed this. It was kinda obvious that it was going to be HGSS-On, I don't think P!P would want their players getting rid of all of their MD-AR cards, then change the format being MD-On a month before the tournament. It would make a lot of players very unhappy, having to build a new deck in a couple of weeks, not fun. Smart play I have to admit, confirmation is nice.

The only ones who are sad are the ones who are butt-hurt over their SPs and SF cards being rotated. Smarter players already started trading and testing for HGSS-on since the first announcement and will be prepared.
