XY IV Breeding Genderless Pokemon

Please tell me there's an easier way to do this.

I got a Beldum with 3 31 IVs (HP, SDef, Spd) on a Wonder Trade. Do I have any way to get 5IVs on this thing other than breeding it with a Ditto with 31s in Attack and Defense and relying on blind luck (and the Destiny Knot) for it to pass on its IVs from both parents?
 
Essentially, yes that's what you have to do an then replace the parent with a 4IV Beldum when you get one

Try and get a 6IV ditto if you can
 
Ditto cannot breed with each other, so to get one with multiple 31 IVs in different stats you just need to get one in the wild.
To get a 5 IV genderless Pokemon, you do need to rely on luck if you are missing a good IV Ditto. Once you eventually hatch a Beldum with 4-5 IVs, there is a higher chance to get more, it just takes much longer than breeding gendered Pokemon as you're pretty much stuck with low-IV Ditto as a parent.
