• When creating a thread in the Deck Garage, make sure that you post one deck per thread, you use the correct prefix, you have the set name/card number next to each card, you give a strategy for non-metagame decks, and give translations for all cards not available in English.

Strategy:

The strategy is pretty simple. Set up a M Sceptile-EX then item lock with Vileplume.
 
I think the only problem with this deck is damage potential. You've item locked yourself. Sceptile is doing 120 at most (unless hitting for weakness), which is not enough. If you start retreating to try and recycle Sceptiles and heal them, you can't recycle that energy back into your hand/deck because you're item locked.

Sceptile needs a way to retreat and a Pokemon that can hit for 180+. Something like Shiftry is a much better companion than Vileplume.
