Hello all.
I have a question today:
At the battle roads, I had the winning Raffle Ticket twice. I won a Shining Darkness booster pack on both occasions (the PO for Virginia has connections in Jap).
Any way, I pulled several cards that are going to be in Secret Wonders. (Spoiler Alert, highlight if you want to see which cards I have a question about). These are the cards I have that will be in Secret Wonders:
Furret
Arcanine
Raticate
Donphan
Unown K
Unown X
Jynx
+Uncomons

But, my questions is not "are these good cards?". My question is: Can I use these Japanese cards if they are reprinted in English? If so, I would most likely need to use it with sleeves, and I would have to provide a translation, correct?

Yes you can use Japanese cards in your deck if...

They have been released in English.

You use opaque sleeves (so the card back won't be visible through the sleeve back).

In modified tournaments you have to have an English version of the card outside your deck as a reference or a print of the corresponding page from the official card dex (can be found on the official TCG site). A self written translation is not enough.

In leagues it doesn't matter. Just use sleeves so you're not accused of being a cheater. :)

Mewstor is spot-on. As long as you take along a nice print and use sleeves that do not show the back of the card in any way, you can use them.

Be warned by the way, I heard colorblind people can see more things as non-colorblinds when it comes to reflections/transperancy of sleeves. So if you know a colorblind, let that person check for you if you aren't yourself.

Lol, colorblind people could mark the back of cards and cheat in tournaments.

But, that is becides the point. Thank you. Mods can lock now.
