i recdently traded my two claydol for a gallade 4 v.x and alakazam 4 lv.x.
did i get ripped off because they will be banned after worlds?

if you're saying the ones you just got are japanese then perhaps you did, unless you can pawn them off to someone else for a net gain. Claydol's worth will probably stay up there assuming GE stays.

We don't know this. Try to get your claydols back imo. At least with those you have a chance of being able to use them again.

I am pretty sure you only get a lv.x in the japanese theme decks not the english ones. As for whether you got ripped off we won't really know until they announce a rotation (if any). But trading anything now for japanese cards is risky unless you specifically want them for a collection or a tournament before September

well i already had an english gallade 4 lv.x and i didnt know if i wanted my list to play 2...and it doesnt so i have an extra gallade 4. the alakazam 4 lv.x is something i may need for nats so i had to get one as soon as the oppurtunity arose.
i own 3 uxie and i dont use my claydol(even though hes great in g decks)so i traded him for some pretty useful stuff.
im hoping to try and sell them after nats for like $10.

If both of you looked at the link, it would obviously lead to the Japanese theme deck translations and scans.

Well I lokked on ebay. Claydols are roughly between $20-25. A japanese Alakazam 4 Lv.X will set you back that much and could only find english Gallade 4 Lv.X and they are going for more than $30 atm. I suppose cause they are still new. So monetary wise I don't think you did that badly out of it. If you desperately need a Claydol again I can always trade you 1

nah claydol wasnt a big worry getting new lv.xs for nats practice was what worried me.
besides today at league i trade 3 shodaw command dusknoirs for a luxray x jap.

Anywayz, regarding your que., because they can be obtained in the japo theme deck you did get ripped off.
If they we're English or they didn't come in a theme deck it would of been a nice trade tho X_X
