OOOHHHH my jirachi!!!
1. Its pretty good, and can be a poor man's sableye. It's can't stand alone, but its a pretty neat starter now that twins and black belt are here.
2. It's not used in many decks, maybe some legends decks.
3. You can use it with disruption, and twins and black belt.
4. I'll give it a 4/5, because even if not as good as sableye, it's very fun.
5. The artwork is OK, not stupendous but not too bad either. Meh.

I <3 Jirachi
1. Ummmmmm, yeah, I wouldn't know if I'd say it can "stand on its own" but it definitely has potential with new supporters being released. Maybe even worth running a couple, as I'll explain.
2. None that I've ever seen. I think LEGEND cards are gonna get a lot more play with new Bronzong and Mew Prime, etc., so it'll be helpful with getting halves from the deck.
3. Alright, so combos are pretty nifty with this guy. Use his free attack to basically double up on supporters, and with Twins that means any FOUR cards you want in a single turn. That can be devastating. Also, if you run a couple, you can start with the first, let it wall and get Knocked Out, then use Twins or Black Belt sooner in the game. I wish there was a way to double up on Black Belts, but that would be too good I guess :\
4. I'm gonna say like 3.5 or 4. If it had more than 60 HP it'd be better, but as such you can only really make it last a few turns. Which is alright, cause its whole point is to die. lol
5. I love the artwork, and I love the design of Jirachi in general, but in this picture he DOES look a little fat...>.>;;

1. I agree with Minimidget, it could be a fun starter. Alone, it isn't too good. It has low HP and doesn't hit for much. It is just good at setting up.
2. I have seen it used in Legend decks before. I have also once seen it used in Dialgachomp at my league (it wasn't too good, but it was interesting to see).
3. Once again, I agree with minimidget. It is good with disruption. Once again, someone at my leagues used it in Dialgachomp before (it was... different to say the least, but it worked out OK, not the best though).
4. I will give it a 4/5 too. Fun and an okay set-up.
5. I like the artwork, Jirachi looks happy and the artwork is majestic.

I don t get it, how can you use twins?
First of all, you said it was a starter, so you can t have more prize than your opponent, so you can t use this card. After your opponent gets a prize, if you put this guy on active just to use Twins, your opponent will just get another prize. Normally, after a starting pokemon, you start the battle. Giving your opponent 2 free prizes just to prepare does just not worth it. Maybe you can catch up with Black Belt, but just like the discussion me and Zero had, it waste a Supporter on your turn.

Actually, for me, who uses Lucky egg, Cynthia and a very wierd deck, this card is awsome because of how I play.

Anyway, I like the detour but what if you start? And this attack isn t that good. Almost all supporter cards that are used presently does not fit with this deck. What, you are going to take 6 basic pokemons a turn with a collector? And next turn, shuffle them back with a PONT and reuse it (it can be useful, thought)? The best is to use it with POV, but the handfresh is very important. Twins is the only thing that works but I explain it that it doesn t, unless somebody explain it to me with another logic.

I know not everybody uses SPs and Power Sprays but I have to mention it.

(I said it was good for my deck, but for the current meta, na)

Ahem.
@wang zitong: After Jirachi is KO'd, you use the power to get a Twins from the deck and play it on your turn. And that is the combo.

1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?
On its own, this card can romp. Ever heard of JirachiRomp? No? Start hearing. 60 HP isn't much, but hey, that didn't stop Celebi Prime from being semi hyped did it? Or Sablelock from getting created? On its own, this card is merely amazing. Swift bypasses EVERYTHING, throw in an expert belt and black belt and you are dealing at least 80 damage to anything (Mewtwo? Check. Luxray? Check). Detour abuses supporters. And of course Final Wish is the ultimate come back power, second only to Fainting Spell.
2. What popular metagame decks is it used in?
None, because people are in denial about its awesomeness.
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
Jirachi+Anything= win.
JirachiTank= use special metals, Snowpoint and defender, and this thing can tank. And even if it is KO'd, you can Final Wish for another one. Free retreat helps to set up other Jirachis, along with Shaymin UL.
JirachiRomp= Similar concept as Sablelock. Use Team Rocket's Trickery twice to double discard, Initiative to double initiative, and so on. Works fast and despite not being able to donk, can uber mess up your opponent's hand if you go second. And the power is very handy.
4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
6/5 stars. This might be the best legendary non-LEGEND pokemon card out there. Two great attacks, free retreat and awesome power? Yes pls.
5. How's the artwork?
It's okay, but since it's Jirachi, it's awesome. 'Nuff said.

(deactivate Jirachi fanboyism).

If they can kill your first Jirachi, they will kill your second. It is like some dude that put another Spiritomb just after another died to continue the trainer lock while your opponent has a Donphan or a Manchamp. They will understand after the second is dead.

No seriously, this card is good because of it free retreat, resist to gengar, great set up and final wish.

Nooo... Okay. So you detour once or twice to get set up. Right? Then, once that jirachi goes down, you use final wish to grab a twins, and use that supporter regualarly, with your main attacker. NOT another jirachi.

1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?
*This is an obvious tech, and can be a devistating starter pokemon on T1. Actually doing damage with it is probably rarely seen but the fact that nothing affects the attack is cool.
2. What popular metagame decks is it used in?
*I highly doubt any1 really uses it in the meta game. It's too risky with 60 hp to start with, you're basically begging for a k.o. and well twins is out and I'd say it completely replaces this card
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
*Of course if you do get lucky enough to go T2 and start with Jirachi and have a good trainer it can be used greatly with any supporter, EPECIALLY twins!
4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
*This Jirachi gets a solid 3.8 out of 5. Great for getting cards you need! I wouldn't mind using him as a tech as well as a sacrifice lol
5. How's the artwork?
Awsome 5 out of 5

Guiding questions:
1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?
This card like a few others were born into the wrong era, and even then the only thing it really has going for it is Poke-Power to one-up other starters. It has pretty average potential because 1.) It has a good attack 2.) It has free retreat and 3.) It is unfortunately absolutely useless if you go first. Where it has decent potential it just isn't worth playing when you have the choice of either Spiritomb or Sableye.

2. What popular metagame decks is it used in?
Nothing uses it because Sableye and Spiritomb outclass it.

3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
You might be able to use it with Legends for speed or Rayquaza C lv X to attach energy with Flint's

4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating. You can also rate the card by rating the thread itself (out of 5 stars).
2.5/5 It ceartainly has its uses, but when you have the option of auto-first and a supporter from deck on Sableye, and trainer-lock and quick evolution with Spiritomb it is quickly dropped in their favor.

5. How's the artwork?
This artwork is really nice, and fully exploits its cuteness, the only Jirachi to ever out class it is the ex Deoxys one.

Sorry, but I d prefer take one card from my deck instead of two (Twins) and having the chance of using Cynthia or Pont.

I don't think you believe that Special Metals+Defender+Snowpoint Temple = A hard to KO Jirachi. It's unlike a Spiritomb. All Spiritomb can do is Trainer Lock and Evolve Pokemon while Jirachi can actually be a tank.

dmaster out.

I've ALWAYS liked this card. It used to be MY Sableye...but then it started not doing as well and I, too, started using Sableye. Now, with the advent of Blackbelt, and especially Twins, hopefully this card will see more play.

1. How does the card stand on its own? Is it good, bad, or have potential? Is it worth being played?
It could work on it's own, in the aforementioned JirachiTank decks. Jirachi+Sp metals+Defender+Snowpoint Temple+maybe a couple of Buffer Piece=Fun for all(well except the defending deck)
2. What popular metagame decks is it used in?
None.....YET.
3. What combos can you use it with? How so?
Jirachi-effin-Tank. Need I say more? Well i will anyways. However, the one thing that sucks about this card is that it needs to be DAMAGED in order for Final Wish to trigger. If it dies to a status condition, no Final Wish. Place a damage counter? No Final Wish. It's too easy to get around. The free retreat helps with status, though, which is nice.
4. Give it a rating, and explain why you have given it that rating.
I give it a strong 4/5 because it's always been one of my favorite cards.
5. How's the artwork?
4/5. Love it.

Jirachi is a basic pokemon treated as a Starter for all of us, which means to prepare a strategy. I don t think somebody will put 3 Snowpoint Temple, 2 Defender and 4 Special Metal just for this guy. Plus, if you want to use final wish, you have to be KO. Imagine you are playing Scizor Prime with it because it is Metal too, why bothering attaching metal to Jirachi? His attack can only do 20 damage, wow. He is a good Starter, but not a tank. My opinion.

**sorry about the twins thing, completely wrong. Forgot you had to be down in prize cards, so no Jirachi doing that T2, unless of course you're deck is terrible and you're down one already lol
but this is cool, ( I use Jirachi bc I only have one Sableye) and yesterday I used seeker to heal A donphan prime and again with detour and healed my machamp prime as well, this saved me 230 hp and cleard my opponents bench!!!!pretty crazy

@wang zitong
I've got to just point out that Final Wish cannot be Power Sprayed.

The wording on Power Spray starts off with "During your opponent's turn...", and it is not your turn when you use Final Wish. Therefore you can't spray it.

Then, Final wish to the Top!

To heal Donphan, yeah, but a Machamp Prime, na, because you have to reattach the energies. But still!

If you sacrafice 2 rachi's you can play 3 twins. Jirachi gets knocked out, take twins. Make jirachi active. Use twins, use jirachis attack, use twins again. If they knock out jirachi again you can take another twins from your deck. Being down by 2 prizes is a hefty price to pay, however.
