"... prevent all damage done to this Pokemon by attacks from Basic Pokemon."

I know EXs are considered Basic. But I also know that cards tend to clarify if it specifically regards EX Pokemon.

So my question: Does this attack prevent damage from EXs?
 
Most Pokemon-EX are Basic Pokemon. Look in the upper left corner of the card to determine its stage. If it says "Basic" up there, then it gets stopped by Flash Ray.
