Question regarding Jumpluff's Cotton Spore.

If my opponent is gengar & he uses life drain. He gets heads, put damage counter till i have 10 hp left. Do i still hav to flip?

Or when he uses shadow dance, put 4 damage counters. Do i have to flip?

Is damage counters & damage the same when i use cotton spore?

They are not the same. Damage is damage, the number beside the attack name. Putting damage counters is an effect.

To answer your question, you do not flip for Cotton Spore on Gengar's Life Drain or Shadow Dance attack.

Jumpluff's pokebody only works on straightforward damege like kingdra d's heat blast but if there are any additional effects they still work.
