hey guys,

I was running a pokemon league yesterday and two questions popped up and i still don't really know the answer.

The first one being, can you play 'Fisherman' when you don't have 4 energy's in your discard. scenario, someone tried to play it to get 2 energy's but it specifically states '4' not 'up to 4', would love a answer guys :)

Also, 'Professor oaks research' says 'shuffle your hand into your deck and draw 6 cards' what if after playing the card you don't have a hand?

Thanks for the help guys :)

regards ron

1) When a card says to take a cartain number, you must take that number (in Fisherman's case, 4). If there are less than that number, you must take them all. Fisherman could be used to take 2 Energy, but only if there were only 2 in the discard pile; if there were exactly 3, he'd take all 3, and with 4 or more, 4 are taken.

This differs from cards that say to take "up to" a certain number, which indicate a range of 1 to that number.

2) You would shuffle your hand of 0 cards into your deck, then draw as normal.
