Hi Everyone,
So, after bringing it down to the amount that you can't see it's health anymore on the bar, 25 ultra balls, and making it go to sleep about 4 times, I have not been able to catch zapdos. do all legendary pokemon have something "special" that makes them really annoying to catch? and there are some of you who have caught legendaries on the first try with a regular pokeball.

Yah, it's catch rate + luck. They all generally have low catch rates, which is logical since they're legendary, so you just have to be persistent.

As said, there is no strategy except for: Keep trying. People think you can press leftrightleftrightleftright but that doesn't work. You have to just cross your fingers, and hope for the best. Or get a master ball.

yeah or look away from the screen, or look at the screen and press all the buttons randomly.

i feel that they could make the roaming pokemon's catch rate a little easier since they flee right away. im not saying make them as easy as normal pokemon, but after chasing entei for DAYS and having it down to what looked like no health, i think that it shouldnt have taken me 40 ultra balls to finally catch it in that condition hahaha

i would get its hp down and use a dusk ball tht is the bst way to catch all pokemon in caves or at night. dnt waste poke on ultra balls fr legendaries!!!!!!!!

It's either do what was suggested or randomly cross your entire body (somehow worked for my Latias). It is just catch rate. Besides that, you could False Swipe until 1HP, then freeze it/ make it sleep, then attempt to catch it. May work wonders for you...
