Not sure if this "text lag" or whatever it is called, is happening to just me or others. When I try to post a reply to a post after I quote somebody, it is as if it is lagging because it doesn't show the text I typed, but then shows up a few seconds later. Didn't happen to me until the forum got updated with that new format.

Yeah... It was fine for me until the text got slower.. then the entire site went slower! what's going on?

Yeah, it's been happening for a while. The only suggestions people had where either use the Quick Reply or type up your response in Word or Notepad or something and paste it in.

Your computer's slow. Get a new one.

What's your OS?
Did you have any virus problems lately?
What internet browser are you using?

Did you have any virus problems lately? No but I have some secured ones in my comp...

My computer isn't slow at all Heavenly Spoon. The text happened right after the update, so apparently it has nothing to do with how slow my comp is. And what is an OS? I haven't had any virus problems lately. I connect to the internet and everything really fast. The only time I have "text lag" is when replying to a post after I quoted it. I am using internet explorer as my browser but am gonna switch it to firefox soon, this is a new computer so yeah haven't really got around to it yet.

My computer isn't slow either.. I happen to have high speed internet... it works perfectly fine everywhere else...

Just a thought...but obviously it's not just our computers because more than a few people have had this problem...and I shouldn't have to use Firefox (which I don't like) just because of how the site runs...

How can you not like firefox?

The only reasons I can think of is because you don't like foxes or are afraid of fire or something.

I hate Firefox because Seamonkey is the updated Firefox, and I feel it is better (and Firefox has always crashed my computer anyways:D)

And the text lag thing happens to me too, but it doesn't bother me much since I fancy my self a decienteaf tipar.b

Oh, my apologies. I didn't realize that I didn't have a choice. Since when do I have to like a new browser just because it's not Internet Explorer?

site works fine with me.

Ahh Firefox. I've had this same computer for 6 years. In the first few years I had it, it crashed MULTIPLE times. It came to the point where I didn't even save anything anymore, because I knew at some point the comp would crash, I would have to clean it out, and lose everything. You don't know how many times I have had to clean this computer out.

Then I DL'd firefox, and for the past 3 years, it hasn't crashed once. :D

Beautiful story, George2FRESH! I like FireFox mainly because of the favorite toolabar... plus a million other reasons.... :)

Finally someone else here that likes IE. :)

Well, we're all going off-topic now. I guess it's solved. If Quick Reply is not used, any other text will be typed up slowly unless you're using Firefox. So I use Notepad to copy and paste.
