Hoenn.
I just love those bulky Pokemon like Walrein, Camerupt etc. Probably too because I played Pokemon XD alot, which focusses alot on the Hoenn Pokemon. But RSE were (in my opinion) one of the best games, they just had great Pokemon. Not so much evo's and pre-evo's. In fact only 2. Not too much or too less legendaries, good story-line (but could be better). But still nice games. Johto is on the 2nd place.

I'd say Kanto because it's the only generation that's been able to stand on its own without mixing the Pokémon from other generations. Like I've already mentioned before, the level of creativity in Kanto stands out. Seriously, eggs that become coconuts? A hypnotic Pokémon? Porygon? :p A pile of goo? The puns in the names are ones that I could appreciate more and it's just that I've formed a nostalgic connection with Kanto.[/region]

Hmmm... That's a very hard question to answer, lol. xD

Johto is one of my favorite regions. The region contains some of my favorite Pokemon like Sunflora, Porygon2, Ho-Oh, and Feraligatr. Also, the Pokemon in the region are somewhat unique because I think it abides with Kanto and its Pokemon. I also like Johto because all of its Pokemon are somewhat unique like Kanto. Porygon evolves which was almost never thought as possible and there are so many Pokemon from that region that are remembered in regions to come such as Sudowoodo and Pichu. I love Johto. =D

- Luigi

Kanto and then Johto. I love the design of both compared to the stupidly linear ones of Hoenn and Sinnoh.

dmaster out.

I would say that Kanto had the best, but that the Johto region was the most fun to play.

Hoenn to me had the worst. In terms of competitive battling, it only has 7 pokemon in OU. While Kanto and Johto have 12 and 11 respectively.

Johto.

Skarmory, Blissey, Forretress, Suicune, Raikou, Lugia, Celebi, Tyranitar, Heracross, Scizor, Kingdra. With the exception of Raikou and Lugia, all of those are OU, and Raikou was an insane beast in ADV days. So yeah, Johto has the best Pokemon.

i would say its a dead tie between Johto and Hoenn. I love Kanto, just cause its the original, but Hoenn seems the most fun cause it had great pokemon that werent so overpowered. I mean you could do great with a staple team of one of every type and it just had lovely pokemon and just all around great. Johto cause I LOVED fighting Red in crystal(hope they bring him back). Sinnoh was the worst. In DP, the ONLY fire pokemon aside from Chimchar was Ponyta, and the noobs who got into pokemon at Sinnoh would never catch a ponyta and train it to lvl 40, just to evolve, so they choose chimchar for the fire type. While its good, they dont even think about Torterra or Empoleon who are both solid choices. Empoleon has the least amount of weaknesses and the most resistances. So Empoleon is obviously the better choice, but because people want a fire pokemon they just go and choose chimchar.

Hoenn definitely had a more defensive competitive battling style. Stall and wall teams were more effective in the 3rd gen. I agree that Sinnoh is worst, even though it has the most pokes in OU because a lot of those pokemon (eg Dusknoir, Electivire, Weavile) were just evos of previous generations.

Sinnoh. I love their designs. The colors, THE COLORS. Plus I love Luxray.

Worst was Hoenn. It was just... Not normal. The Pokemon looked like Aliens to me. Plus lack of Kanto Pokemon, just another way to mooch off for FR/ LG.

Um, it's Kanto and Sinnoh. I liked Kanto for being the first, and Sinnoh because some designs are cool. Third is Hoenn, and last is Johto. Thank you they're remaking Johto, because they needed DS-style sprites.

I voted ofr sinnoh, but now that i think about it i actually liked Hoenn better.

yeah Hoenn was definitely one of the best games, you had a big choice of Pokemon for you party. Not like DPPt, where you're forced to pick the best. The Hoenn Pokemon are all (if you do it right) around the same strength (most of them). You just had a lot of choice and their designs were awesome, very good. Good move-sets and nice story-line, the only shame is the story mode was quickly finished, a bit too quick, you didn't get even the change to battle your rival with his/her fully evolved starter, apart from that, it was just GREAT!

Sorry, but this is pretty much a favorites thread - and, of course, those aren't allowed. :(
