Nowadays, Garbodor is one of the most played pokemon in standard, however with SyM3 we find a supporter card capable of putting 4 energies at a time in turn 1. With Kiawue in the metagame, Ho-oh-GX and Volcanion-EX have found a quick way to mount the attack, the question is how Garbodor will run with this supporter in front.

By not using garbador as the only attacker. Drapma GX and can easily deal the 180 to OHKO basic ex/gx pokemon and Espeon GX can do it too against 3-4 energy pokemon

I will tell you what I am going to do. I am going to get out an Yveltal EX. I am going to slap a darkness energy on it first turn, then use Kiawe to slap 4 fire energy on it. Then I am going to slap another energy on it the following turn, laugh maniacally, and light up everything in my way.

How does that sound

Is Garb/Drampa worth building? I'm worried that everyone will play a counter after Seattle, but Mega Ray isn't doing so well and IDK what to build.

They can only do that if they go first . If I go first, my Yveltal EX slaughters your Drampa GX and there isn't much you can do about it
