Ok, well I have a friend who WON'T TRADE ANYTHING! And he barely has any thing too! He only ghot 2 themes and a few boosters. He refuses to trade me his gallade 4 because it would help my deck. And this was the trade:

and hes playing a grass deck! Leafeon beedrill! And I kept trading higher and higher until that happened and he still wouldn't trade because it would HELP ME.
 
Tell him you are not going to play it, and that you love the artwork. But, your friend must be crazy because I would trade it right away in his place.
 
If you wanted a Gallade 4, just go buy the theme deck, i wouldn't throw away that many cards for one Gallade 4 <_<
 
Yeah, RB is right. Don't let it to go so far, after all you can get it for 10 dollars with additions like Flygon.
 
That trade isn't even good. He should keep the Gallade.

Skymin is horrible, as are the rest of the cards (excluding Looker's).
 
If he's foolish enough to not take that trade, you should buy the theme deck, and show him how much of a good trade he refused. Maybe go on ebay and show him how much better of a deal he would of got.
 
I should, but I don't really want to spend 10$ just for a gallade 4(well, there are the other rares in it). I probably will though.

An Amt, skymin wouldn't do bad in his deck considering that it is a tweaked gallade 4 deck(and its straight on grass).
 
hey! I don't trade anything just things that i don't care about besides i thought all of those cards i wouldn't need because i already have my deck ready (except i need 4 grass energies)
 
Some people just don't like to trade. The pushier you get, the less likely they are to do it. Just accept the no and move on to some other source.
 
Dude, Skymin is bad no matter how you look at it. He was smart to have kept the GAllade 4. Just pay the $10.
 
*sigh*BB33 your deck is ready in your own eyes. I wouldn't even consider being done if that was my deck. You need to look for what you want(and have it) before its ready. Like how you need leafeon X and such. Also, newsflash! you play mom's kindness! I can trade you mars but still! BUt I am going to buy the theme deck.
 
Actually in my deck i have proxies instead of mom's kindness (Mar's,and Buck) because it wasn't done quite yet since i still have proxies for energy
 
When you have less cards to your name, you get more attached to the few cards you do have. Even cards that would seem disposable to some (i.e. RR Aaron's Drapion, Pokeball, Mom's Kindness etc.) mean a lot, so trading is a lot tougher.

Speaking from experience, here.

You shouldn't push people like this, though. You'll probably only make them further attached to the small amount of cards they have and not want to trade anyone.
 
Maybe he just doesn't want to get ripped off.
P.S. Why does every one say the theme decks are $10? Aren't the $12?
 
wow buddy, $2 more is really making that much of a difference. $10 or $12, its not much is the bottom line here ... and $10 just seems makes it seem more appealing =D, hahaha
 
MSRP of theme decks is $11.99, though Target has some older ones on clearance for $10.
 
Try to trade for something that is "good" for childs... Like, childs often think ex. Steelix SF is good because is can take 100 damage... at least here at my school, or if their holofoil.
