I know this is not directly related but if I trade some one in japan a pokemon will their pokemon's writing be english?

example There pokemons attacks are in japanese if they trade with me will their pokemons attack be in english?

l think they will be in English but i'm not 100% sure...

You do know this is the Wi-FI Trading corner? He is talking about ATTACK names In The Game when wi-fi trading someone in japan when you are in america.

But yes the do translate.

When you receive a Pokemon in a trade from somebody who lives in a country with a different language, the name of the Pokemon will be whatever it was in that country's language. (Foppa the Magikarp from that one guy in DP illustrates this point)

If the name of the Pokemon is in Japanese, that Pokemon's name will still be in Japanese.
