Lanturn/Eelektrik

Shut up, I've got a moustache.

Pokémon:
4x Lanturn Prime
4x Chinchou

3x Eelektrik
3x Tynamo

1x Tornadus
1x Zekrom
=16x

Goods:
4x Pokémon Collector
4x Juniper
3x Sage's Training
3x Prof. Oak's New Theory
3x Pokémon Communication
2x Pluspower
4x Junk Arm
3x Pokémon Catcher
1x Super Rod
3x Switch
2x Level Ball
=33

Energies:
4x Double Colorless Energy
8x Lightning Energy
=12

So the idea is to go straight forward with setting up Lanturn, using Juniper, Sage's Training and Junk Arm to discard energies. Then, I use the Eelektriks to reattatch them to benched Chinchou/Lanturns. Tornadus is fighting-counter. Zekrom is for lols really, so I guess I could take it out.

Help?

are you running both 30HP and 40HP tynamo?

4 plus power is overkill, drop 2 in favor of level ball (searches for any pokemon with less than 90HP, such as eelektrik)

you should also consider thundurus for early discard loading

I'm running 2x Tynamo 30 HP (for free retreat) and 1x Tynamo 40 HP. I'm thinking of switching them around though. Anyhow, about the level ball, I'm going to playtest with it. Don't got it yet though, so no hurries.

Any other ideas?

I'd suggest cutting 1 switch and a professor juniper for a thundurus because you need to start discarding energies form T1.

-1x Lanturn Prime
-1x Chinchou
-1x Tornadus
-4x Pokémon Collector
-1x Sage's Training
-2x Pluspower
-1 Switch

+2 Mewtwo EX
+4 Dual Ball
+3 Level Ball
+2 Pokegear 3.0

This makes your deck faster and able to deal with Mewtwo EX also gives you an awesome extra attacker and more search for Eels.

I my opinion, the collectors are needed and I think that there should be more collectors than none because to me they could really help set up better.

...but that leaves space for 1 more card.

Mewtwo EX might be a funny idea, but personally, I don't like Mewtwo EX. It's overpowered, it's going to be overplayed, and I think running 4x Lanturn Prime is better for the deck than running 3x Lanturn and 2x Mewtwo. Also, I think your trainer advice kind of sucked. Therefore, I find it hard to concider it seriously.

Anyhow, I just realized I don't got any Cleffa. Should I put it in there?

Mewtwo EX will not be one of the main attackers, just a counter to Mewtwo EX decks.

Your running a deck focused around piling up energies on your pokemon. Mewtwo does more damage based on number of energy on you. Why wouldn't you want to tech for it?

I still think that a thundurus is essential to this deck to discard energy. I think that a zekrom EX could be added to finish up the game with some quick KOs. It's just my opinion but Zekrom EX might be a good idea.
