Last pages dont exist, why?

I dont know if this has all ready been answered, but why is it when I click last page on a thread it says it doesn't exist? is this just happening to me or are other members having the same problem? its really annoying cause I have to go through every page just to get to the last one.

Just type into your browser one #less till you find the last page. It's just a common forum glitch.

I think it has to do with deleted posts, which seem to be hidden instead. I forgot who said it, but when you're going to click a thread, try clicking on "Last Post". This and Juliacoolo's method work nicely.

Yeah I have had this problem as well. It does seem to get annoying but I just think it's a forum's glitch. I just click on "Last Post" and it takes me to the last post.

just click next oldest at the bottom of the thread and then next newest and it will take you to the last post made in the thread.
 
I am having the same problem. It seems to happen only on pages when the last post is only 2 or 3 away from making a new page.
 
I'm sorry but this has been asked over 9000 (obvious exaggeration) times. If you people could take the effort to lurk a bit more, it would be much appreciated. And for the last time, its a glitch on the forumboard itself, im suprised it hasn't been fixed yet. Just stick to clicking on new post.

I am not sure with MyBB but I know with SMF forums there is an option to optimize tables. If there is an option like that in MyBB it might have to be run because it deletes extra stuff.
