Not as many Sabledonk's in today's tourny as was yesterday, but they were there. I wasn't donk'd at all, surpisingly. Ran me a home-made deck of Pidgeot and some Raichu's and Dugtrio's. Surprisingly did well in my first game against a really cute girl in a Charizard cap. Who knew you could scope out chicks at a Pokemon tourny? Too bad I forgot to get her name, number, and other important details.. But yeah. Pidgeot's Headwind is pretty mean. Wish I grabbed more HH/SS boosters when they first came out because DC's would make that card work so much faster. The rest of the games didn't go so well, but I enjoyed myself just like everyone else.
Anyway, from a fresh League Leader and tourny+meta game newbie, it was refreshing to see all the parents there playing to support their kids(and doing well!). I believe that's what this game is about - bridging the gap between the younger and the older to put them on level playing fields so they can grow closer and the young can look up to the old and the old can feel young again.
By the by, if anyone knows who that girl in the Charizard cap was... XD

I recommend that in the future you should post your deck up in the deck garage for some tips from fellow players. I find this very helpful when I have a new deck idea to get some advice as it often helps the deck run better. Nice job in your first game!
