Jirachi isn’t actually that good in anything that isn’t Zapdos. Looks good, otherwise.
I tend to disagree here. Jirachi is an excellent draw and search engine in decks that run higher Trainer counts. However Malamar decks do not tend to do that on usual.
@ForeverRanger:
Consider these modifications:
Pokémon:
- 1 Snorlax & Eevee GX (Latios & Latias GX already hit numbers)
- 1 Latios & Latias GX (two are sufficient most of the time)
- 1 Dawn Wings Necrozma GX (less strong without Altar of the Moone)
- 1 Jirachi (the deck does not run enough trainers to benefit from it as a draw and search engine. As a rule of thumb you want 34 trainers or more in total to abuse it)
+ 2 Giratina (Still and insane attacker in this deck)
+ 1 Lunala Prism Star or Nihilego (both are nice alternate attacker. Persoanlly I tend to favbor Nihilego a little since Latios & Latias GX already provide acceleration)
Trainer:
- 2 Nest Ball (Ultra Ball is more versatile here and ten Pokémon search cards in total suffice)
- 1 Devoured Field (Viridian Forest works better in this deck)
- 1 Tate and Liza (the fourth Lillie is still better in this deck since it tends top play down it's hand)
+ 3 Viridian Forest (search out the needed Basic Water energy and siscard Basic Psychic Energy and Giratina alike)
+ 1 Lillie (best turn one supporter and still decent draw later on in this deck)
+ 1 Escape Rope (the needed fourth switch card for this deck)
Hope that provides some initial assistance.
