Hey, everybody.
Here to share and collect opinions/suggestions on a RL deck I setup and haven't heard much about so far.
This is a more offensive approach to Leafeon-GX, which I consider cleaner and faster than the Decidueye variant, trading an Espeon EX tech for a Turtonator-GX tech to counter popular meta threats. Additionally, there's a quick dabble on some particular choices for further discussion.
So, without further ado:
Pokémon: 20
Strategy's pretty obvious: start with Eevee or promote it to active after Brigette t1 into Fomantis and Remoraid/Cherubi, evolve into Leafeon-GX through its ability, evolve bench with Grand Bloom GX t1(if going second)/t2, powering up Leafeon for a t2/t3 Solar Beam (hopeful)kill. Manage the game from there.
Cherubi/Cherrim: its ability removes weakness from (G) pokémon, complementing Leafeon with survival and preventing an initial auto-loss situation. Leafeon's engine makes it extremely easy to get Cherrim online before any real harm is done, so it's always worth to include it.
Turtonator-GX: Since this strategy employs Lurantis (PRO) for damage boost, this gives me an immediate, 1-attachment answer to popular meta threats like Golisopod-GX and Dusk Mane Necrozma-GX, both in K.O. range with 3 Lurantis behind and an attached Choice Band.
Remoraid/Octillery: I chose it over Zoroark-GX as my draw engine due to Buzzwole-GX prevalence and the initial Glaceon-GX hype.
Hala: Great synergy and ease of use with Leafeon-GX, allowing me to conserve resources into a big push.
Switch: I like having this in case I'm spearheading a Choice Band'ed pokémon (usually Turtonator-GX) and for an eventual double-heal with Leafeon-GX. Big help.
Multiswitch: Leafeon-GX is a DCE-two-attachments attacker, which sometimes causes pacing issues. This is a one-time solution for when I need that momentum from a forced switch or K.O. replacement.
So that's it. Fire away, guys!
