Leafeon n' status throwing friends

Would this deck be good at Cities and/or Battle Roads with this next format?

3-3 Leafeon (HS-Unleashed)(I plan on using Eevee #48/90 from HS-Und.)
2-2 Houndoom Prime
3-3 Muk (HS-Undaunted)
2-2-2 Metagross(HS-Unleashed)
~TRAINERS~
PETM-4
Rare Candy-2
Collector-2
Communication-4
IQ-3
Pokedex-3
PONT-3
~ENERGIES~
Psychic Energy-17

The point of this deck is to be doing 100 to 150 damage every turn with Leafeon.Houndoom is for a chance to burn,Muk switches the opponents pokemon and puts two status conditions on the newly switched pokeomon,(at my choice.)and Metagross will be on the bench to give my pokemon that have psychic energy attached free retreat.

RE: Leafeon n' status throwing friends

No Roserade?? It is really helpful! (and also a common tech in Leaferade decks).

- 3-3 Muk (it really slows the idea of the deck)
+ 2-2 Roserade (attach a rainbow and you'll be doing 100 in one turn (+10 with poison) or 150 if you get heads at fire breath)
+ 1-1 Leafeon (is your main attacker)

Of course, with this idea your deck lacks of rainbow energies and grass energies. Also notice that Leafeon has low HP, you'll need rescue energies (IMO).

Hope it helped.

RE: Leafeon n' status throwing friends

Yeah, I thought about that when I make the post xD

The main reason that I suggest cutting the Muk line is because it's main purpose is to bring an opponent's pokémon and then do 100 damage with Leafeon. IMO, is a lot better (and faster to build) with only Roserade, instead of Muk and Metagross (and switching your pokemons every turn). What you can do is to add the Roserade line, and then add a tech for Reshiboar (because I don't see nobody using Steelix Prime... and fire type decks are very annoying for Leafeon).

The great pro of using Muk is that can be very disruptive, bringing a pokemon that you want. But it'll be useless when pokemon catcher comes out, don't you think?

You're right,it will be useless when Pokemon Catcher comes out.(Since it's likley to be a reguirement for every deck IMO.)As for a tech, perhaps Buffolant(Rare)might help.Since there will be a limited amount of Rainbow Energies, some Unknown RETURNs might help as well.

Yep. IMO, a good second attacker for this deck would be a heavy tank (I mean a pokémon with large HP).

Maybe Emerging Powers will give us the answer ;)

Not to get off topic, but the Unova Regon doesn't have any grass legendaries.I suppose what I'm trying to get at is the fact that if there was one, depending on what it did in TCG,I might have been tempted to add it to this deck...

*coughvirizioncough*

Never said it had to be good! lol

Vileplume is a really good partner to Muk and if you could find room for it to get it out quickly, you could see it T2 and won't have to worry about Catcher. It's just another option I'd like to suggest.

dmaster out.

Virizion is Grass/Fighting xD besides that, there isn't any grass only legendary pokemon in the Unova Region. And no, it is not useful in this deck (Maybe the one of the Red Collection, that can draw 2 cards and has a nice HP... a heavy starter, maybe?).

@Dmaster I was hoping to get a trainer-lock in here with Pokemon Catcher coming out,and as for Virizion,I'll have to see what it does.

*EDIT* Perhaps Virizion isn't so bad...

Virizion - Grass - HP110
