Leafeon - Nats?

Well, I haven't posted anything in a LONG time, and being as I'm now old enough to be a master, I'll post my current deck (May use it for nats)

4-3-1 Leafeon UD/Lv X (2 RR and 2 MD Eevee)
1 Umbreon UD
1 Skuntank PL
2 Crobat G
2-2 Roserade UD
1-1 Magmortar SV
2 Uxie
1 Azelf

3 Pokemon Collector
2 Bebe's Search
2 Warp Point
2 Seeker
3 BTS
1 Luxury Ball
1 Cynthia's Feelings
2 Expert Belt
1 Palmer's Contribution
4 Pokedrawer +
2 Prof. Oak's New Theory
2 Pokemon Communication
3 Super Scoop Up

5 Grass energy
2 Fire energy
4 Rainbow energy

Strategy: Use Roserade/Magmortar's power to inflict special conditions and kill them with Leafeon's miasma wind. Umbreon is for Lostgar/Vilegar/Steelix (has a body). Any comments/criticism's are appreciated.

Obviously I will change this and that cards before nats, like adding some Pokemon Catcher or whatever.

RE: Leafeon - Masters - Nats?

Hi! I'm glad to see another Leafeon deck in pokebeach.

IMO, Magmortar is not the best choice for this deck. I mean, you always need to Seeker/SSU it so it can do evolutionary flame. I think it's better Blaziken PL (burns opponent whenever you want) or Houndoom Prime (it's a flippy pokepower, but it works).
Also, you're playing a 4-3 line of Leafeon? You should run a 4-4 line or at least use Leafeon Lv. X for Verdant Dance and attach 2 energies per turn.
I recommend you using Rescue Energies. They are very useful, also knowing that Leafeon is your main attacker and it has low hp. Believe, you really need 4 Rescue Energies.
Also, you could add some grass energies (works like rainbow if you have psychic and grass when you use leafeon lv x) and unown GS return (so you can use twice times the rainbows).
With those changes you can drop out some trainers, that against VileGar or any trainer lock deck you'll be doomed.

Hope it helped!

RE: Leafeon - Masters - Nats?

Thanks, I know about the Rescue energies, and I don't have a Leafeon X (probably should get one lol) I tried Blaziken PL but a stage 2 didn't fit in, so I stuck with Magmortar. (Collector, 3 basics, Communicate one in for 'Mortar and evolve due to BTS). Thanks for the advice though, it's great to see there are Leafeon players. (in fact it's nice to see players who dont play Lostgar XD)

RE: Leafeon - Masters - Nats?

Hahaha yeah, everyone is playing LostGar (IMO is not such a great deck...). And yeah, try to get rescue and leafeon lv x, they work great in this deck.
Well, even if you're running Magmortar SV, I recommend you the grass energies. Only because you can use Verdant Dance (30 + 10 for each energy attached to your pokemon. it's great when you have to KO a Steelix Prime and you don't have Umbreon).

RE: Leafeon - Masters - Nats?

Yeah I don't think it's a great deck either (warped win I'd say) and yeah I'm announcing a trade for the level X now, thanks for the advice :)

RE: Leafeon - Masters - Nats?

Here again.

You've already tested this deck against Vilegar or some deck with Vileplume?

RE: Leafeon - Masters - Nats?

have you ever thought of a 1-1 hypno line from HGSS? just another SC to add to the defending pokemon

RE: Leafeon - Masters - Nats?

@mrwillster Hypno is very flippy, and you only can add 3 special conditions to the defending pokémon.
