Ruling Leafeon switch

Alright my brother and I have been battling and he doesn't believe me when I say that:

If he uses leaf guard and leafeon is benched via warp point and then is brought out to the active pokemon spot again (via Regice) does the effect continue or does benching end the effect.

I told him absolutely yes and when he doubted me I told him to check the compedium. He and I both couldn't find the answer in the compedium so if some of you could tell me that I am right then maybe he'll listen.,

^What??? Benching and evolving end ALL effects on that pokemon. Damage addition, reduction, ect. are all removed when benched.
 
Papi is 100% right. If Leafeon uses Leaf Guard and then in ANY way goes to the bench, the damage reduction effect is gone.

This goes for any kind of effect that increase/decrease damage that is put on the Pokemon itself.
