RSE/FRLG League Trouble=(

RE: leauge trouble=(

A little more information please.

Who else are you using? Where are you having trouble? Which 3rd gen game are you playing, since members of the Elite Four and their Pokemon and movesets change if you're playing Emerald.

RE: leauge trouble=(

I think you need a Fire, a Psychic and an Ice type as support for Sceptile;
It isn't that easy to win the league with just Sceptile, as it has no ways of easy beating Ice, Ghost , Steel and Dragon Pokémon.

RE: leauge trouble=(

SIDNEY: Sharpedo and Crawdaunt die to Sceptile. Mightyena can be taken down by Sceptile, but watch for Intimidate. Watch out for Absol's Aerial Ace if you bring out Sceptile.

PHOEBE: One of Phoebe's Dusclops has Ice Beam (IIRC) so be careful using Sceptile.

GLACIA: Ignore Sceptile as much as possible. Maybe against her Sealeo, but that's it.

DRAKE: Flygon might die to Sceptile, but none of the other dragons will so bring out your Ice-types (and really, just use it against Flygon too :p )

STEPHEN: ouch. Claydol dies to Sceptile but that's it again. Type matching is more important than plowing through with any one Pokemon.

WALLACE: MUCH better. Start with Sceptile, use Leaf Blade and hope for a crit. You can probably one-shot Wailord but if you don't you might die to Blizzard. Milotic dies to Leaf Blade and so does Whishcash, and Ludicolo is good to stall out with Sceptile. Do not use Sceptile against Gyarados or Tentacruel.

Hope that helps.

RE: leauge trouble=(

Try using fighting types for sydney, dark for phoebe, steel for glacia, ice for stephen and electric for wallace... or use sceptile for some of them but That's what types I recommend. The pokemon are all on you

RE: leauge trouble=(

I'd highly recommend against using Sceptile against Wallace's Milotic. Your first time through, if you do not get a crit, Leaf Blade will do about 70% damage, and then Milotic will proceed to OHKO you with Ice Beam. In any case, you can't really OHKO Milotic like that first time around, so I had my grass type backed up with a Magneton (T-bolt) after the grass was OHKO'd.

RE: leauge trouble=(

Aggron can tank pretty well, but he's best for absorbing physical blows. However, against Stephen he won't do much good, as most of his team knows Earthquake, which decimates Aggron. I'd try to raise up another Pokemon that could probably put up a good fight. I think Camerupt might work because he gets Flamethrower and EQ STAB, both of which are powerful weapons.
