Length of States

I am going to my first state champioships tomorrow, and I'm just wondering how long do they last? Because I have a basketball game (playoffs, semi-finals) at 3:00.

Most of the time, States won't end until 3-6, and will last even longer if you top cut. So odds are, you might have to drop out or skip the basketball game if you want to make it to States.

EDIT: I mean 3 PM to 6 PM.

I'm in Masters, and I'm expecting the finals to end at 9 at the earliest. Seniors, maybe 2-3 hours earlier.

I think I will be able to make it to my game then. I just really want to go to States, but my game is the semi-finals.

Hmm, this was something I didn't think about myself. Masters tends to last the longest, right?

Yes, Masters end at night. Seniors/Juniors end earlier. (This is assumed for a big turnout.)

Today (in Fort Wayne), Masters went until 7:30 (not including top cut, they're probably still in it as I type this), Seniors probably an hour or so earlier (they had one less round, top 4 started around 7 or so), and Juniors was done before the lunch break (2ish).
