So basically, a Let's Play video consists of a person showing you a game by filming it, mostly with voice commentary.
I was wondering if you guys ever made/watched any LPs. If not, allow me to introduce them to you.

Currently, I'm doing an LP of a Super Mario World romhack (aka edited version) called Super Dinosaur World. It's extremely unknown and not that great, but still funny. The only reason I'm doing it is because someone challenged me to do so on another forum.
It's pretty fun to do though and I'm almost finished, so I might make more after this one.
Anyone got a good idea for a game you'd like to see? Most Pokemon games seem to be fairly popular so I probably won't be doing those, but any games are welcome.

I've never made any, but I would love to try. My favorite LPer is Chuggaconroy, and I watch Cal as well. I'll definitely give your videos a try!

If you played the original Super Mario World for SNES (and I suggest you do lol), this is an excellent game to relive some of the moments as well as some cool new content.
 
I don't care much for youtube LP's but if you are just starting one, you might want to look up some of
Slowbeef
Diabeetus
Proteus
And a lot more from somethingawful forums. After all I think one of them started this whole VLP's going

I know right!His videos are all I watch of LP Players.(Other than Vocaloid).
 
I've watched quite a few of them and I plan to do some as well once I get the device I need to record my xbox360.
I'll subscribe to your channel. :p Hopefully I'll watch most of your videos.

Yeah i've seen a few let's plays...but only from one user :p The videos were lets play Halo:Combt Evolved on lgendary :p It's really funny
 
One of the most entertaining Let's Plays I've watched is the blind playthrough of Sonic 2006 done by pokecapn, Medi-Bot, Kung-Fu Jesus, and IlluminatusVespucci. It can be found here. There's also a sequel of sorts for Sonic Unleashed which is also pretty funny.

Other ones from the archive I recommend:

Zorak's Pokemon Quartz
SynthOrange's Princess Maker 2
The Dark Id's Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus

Pokemon Quartz and Princess Maker 2 are both classics. There's also one on the SA forums called Let's Horribly Break Pokemon Blue or something like that which can be fairly entertaining (and educational!)

I've done a little LPing myself, but they're not terribly interesting so I don't think I'll link to any.
 
I'll check it out! I'm a big fan of Chuggaaconroy so I'm sure I'll like your videos too.

The only problem is that I don't have a YouTube account so I can't subscribe to your videos or rate them.
 
I so made this thread ages ago. Lol.

But yeah, I do LP's myself, and a fair few on here seem to like them so woo :). Doing Super Mario Galaxy 2 at the moment, with random interruptions from Touhou when I get the will to do something different.

I usually watch raocow and GVirusG myself, as well as one or two others from the talkhaus forums that I subbed to.
